How Finland Fights The Fake News Trolls
For the past five years, trolling, threats and harassment have been a part of daily life for Jessikka Aro, a journalist at Finland's national broadcaster, Yle.
It started in 2014 when she began to investigate what she calls "Russian troll factories" - places where people are paid to manufacture and spread deliberately misleading information.
But the impact of disinformation isn't limited to one person. Mindful of their country's long and often difficult history with Russia, Finland's government decided to take action against the spread of fake news.
Now, they think they've found a way to fight back, using public education campaigns to spread awareness of the risks disinformation poses.
