The Margin: This Is What $120 Billion-plus In Net Worth Looks Like On The Deck Of A Boat

If the wobbly stock market has some of the richest men in the world worried, you wouldn’t know it from David Geffen’s recent Instagram shot.

From his mega-yacht off the coast of Spain, the music and movie mogul this week offered a glimpse into his latest star-studded nautical affair:

That’s none other than ex-Goldman Sachs GS, -0.86% chief Lloyd Blankfein hanging with Amazon’s AMZN, +0.16% Jeff Bezos and his new girlfriend, as well as Thrive Capital founder Joshua Kushner and his supermodel wife Karlie Kloss, to name just a few of the deep-pocketed pals.

All told, Bloomberg reported the group is worth more than $120 billion, even after Bezos, by far the wealthiest, lost more than $3 billion in Monday’s market rout, in which the Dow DJIA, -0.36% shed more than 700 points.

Geffen makes a habit of entertaining some of the richest and most high-profile in the world on his 453-foot Rising Sun yacht, including the likes of Jerry Seinfeld and Tom Hanks. As you can see, Oprah Winfrey was just there.
