Justin Onuekwusi Starts Role As St James's Place CIO

Justin Onuekwusi has started his role as chief investment officer at St James’s Place today (4 October), nearly six months after it was announced he would leave his post at Legal & General Investment Management.

Onuekwusi spent more than a decade at LGIM, most recently as head of retail investments, EMEA and head of retail multi-asset funds. He has previously held roles at Aviva Investors, Merrill Lynch and Aon Consulting. He was awarded the Freedom of the City of London in 2020 for his work promoting and campaigning for diversity in the asset management industry.
