How HPC Is Cooler, Literally
Sponsored Post This year's Supercomputing (SC24) event will feature a strong presence from Lenovo as the company showcases its High Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) portfolio.
Held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia between 17 and 22 November, SC24 is a technical conference designed for the movers and shakers in the HPC community, ranging from industry experts to influencers and enthusiasts.
The registration page includes a short preview which highlights just some of the ways HPC can help make order out of chaos by supporting the AI/ML workloads used to create cars, rockets, golf clubs, as well as process lifesaving data analytics in healthcare and environmental research.
Lenovo will be offering new open-to-the-public forums orchestrated to showcase some of the groundbreaking industrial and scientific research which its hardware and software is supporting. The Lenovo Innovation Forums will include a session that explains how Lenovo Neptune® power and cooling technologies are helping companies across industries accommodate power hungry AI workloads used for design and testing purposes by addressing datacenter thermal requirements, for example.
Another session - From Data to Insight: Increase Throughput and Efficiency of Genomics Workflowshighlights how HPC has helped make genomics sequencing much faster in the last decade. It'll explain how Lenovo's Genomics Optimization and Scalability Tool (GOAST) is now giving researchers the power they need to overcome the data bottlenecks generated by large scale AI workloads. Additional forums will cover Lenovo's generative and responsible AI, weather and climate, cloud service provider, and storage solutions.
All the while Lenovo experts will be on hand in booth #2201 throughout the duration of the event to talk through its liquid cooling, HPC, AI software, large language model (LLM), storage and workstation solutions. The company is set to host over 20 booth theater sessions led by its partners, customers and SMEs.
