Shah was previously at Cenkos, where he worked as head of research for nearly two years, focusing on investment companies.
Before his stint at Cenkos, Shah worked at Quilter Cheviot in a similar role for just under a year, during which he provided maternity cover. Prior to that, he was an investment manager and analyst at abrdn.

In his new role, he will report to Quilter Cheviot head of fund research Nick Wood, and will be responsible for covering UK and global equities. The firm has also hired two additional analysts on fixed-term contracts to provide support to the team.
Mo Bagate has joined from Brooks Macdonald, where he was an investment research analyst. He will work across fund sectors, while Simon Woodacre, who was previously a manager research analyst at Cardano Risk Management, will cover the alternative funds market.
