Crispin Odey has admitted to sexual misconduct for the first time, justifying his actions due to being “under heavy medication” from a dental procedure.

The woman in question, who has become the 20th person to come forward with sexual misconduct allegations against Odey, told the FT he had asked her to downplay the incident to the Financial Conduct Authority while the regulator was reviewing approvals for his fitness and propriety as a financial services professional.
