Abu Dhabi Unveils MEAs First Processing Facility For Enzyme-based Fuel Additives

RIYADH: Abu Dhabi has unveiled the first advanced facility in the Middle East and Africa for treating fuel additives, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. 

The Industrial Development Bureau, a division under the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development responsible for overseeing industrial sector growth and regulations, has joined forces with XMILE Group to spearhead the construction of this facility, as reported by Emirates News Agency. 

This partnership marks a substantial advancement in local initiatives dedicated to promoting sustainable industrial development within the Emirate’s capital city.   

It also signifies a notable step in collaborative efforts between the public and private sectors, underscoring the importance of raising awareness and encouraging the widespread adoption of sustainable, low-carbon fuels throughout the fuel supply chain.
