THG Expands Into Arkansas

The Hilb Group (THG) has announced the acquisition of Arkansas-based Walker Brothers Insurance (WBI).
WBI, founded in 1932, is a full-service retail agency focused on commercial property and casualty insurance for small and medium-sized businesses. WBI’s staff, including agency leader Mike Luttrell, will join THG and continue to operate from their Springdale, Ark., location.
“Joining THG will allow us to continue WBI’s passion of helping businesses and communities prosper,” Luttrell said. “Now with the resources of a national organization, we will be able to further our longstanding commitment to our region.”
“THG is committed to building a distinguished network of nationwide agency partners,” said Ricky Spiro, CEO of THG. “WBI’s strong Arkansas presence supports the growth of our agency’s footprint. We are extremely pleased to welcome Mike and his colleagues to our expanding team at THG.”
