Liberty Mutual has most satisfied commercial insurance agents – study

Liberty Mutual has the most satisfied independent commercial insurance agents, according to a survey by J.D. Power. The insurer also took the top spot in the category in J.D. Power’s Independent Insurance Agent Satisfaction Study last year.

The study was developed in cooperation with the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America. It surveyed independent agents’ business outlook, strategies and overall satisfaction with commercial lines insurers in the United States.

Liberty Mutual’s Safeco brand ranked third among personal lines insurers in the study, the company said.

“We’re deeply honored to receive the highest score for commercial insurance agent satisfaction for the second year in a row, and a top-three spot for personal lines,” said Tyler Asher, president of independent agent distribution for Liberty Mutual. “The award demonstrates our commitment to making it easy for independent agents to work with us across our full product set, blending effective coverage with a superior customer experience.”
