The debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump has been set in stone. It will take place in Atlanta tonight, Thursday, June 27, 2024. Trump and Biden last debated each other on October 22, 2020, as part of that year’s presidential race.
Tonight’s debate has a good chance of becoming US history’s most fateful presidential debate. As the preparations kick in, PolitiFi tokens have surged, some in double digits.
PolitiFi tokens take over the market frenzy
The two bigwigs have a voice in crypto. Trump has shown support to the United States crypto community and promised to make America a crypto hub. On the other hand, the Biden administration has choked the industry with strict regulations and jailed the likes of CZ and SBF.
The crypto market has shown minor signs of excitement as the debate approaches. However, direct tokens tied to the debate have been on an upswing.
PolitiFi tokens, tied to various political figures, serve as both indicators of public sentiment and avenues for market speculation. All the PolotiFi meme tokens have a combined market cap of $1 billion.
Of the top 10 political meme coins, 7 are based on Trump. Donald’s tokens play on Trump’s slogan, “Make America Great Again,” such as MAGA, which is up 14%. According to CoinGecko, Joe Biden only has 1 token at the top—Jeo Boden.
