In an attempt to resolve the controversy with Rocktoshi, Casey has made what could be considered as the final statement. The controversy began when Rocktoshi demanded $5 million for his equity in a company that dissolved within 3 months. It goes without saying that both sides have their opinions, and the community is debating these opinions before deciding on their respective teams. Casey accepted that they had previously been friends and that Rocktoshi would hang around on Discord, but his contribution to the project was nothing more than fixing a typo.
Since there have been some tweets, I thought it would be useful to write a post about how ordinals came to be, and who was involved.https://t.co/lC85nWSZXs
The blog post goes into more detail, but to get to the point, @rocktoshi21 is not a co-founder of ordinals.

Casey went on to say that Rocktoshi didn’t even know how to code, let alone work on the entire project or continue anything meaningful to it. He was one of the four co-founders of Ordinals Corporation. The situation pretty much ended there, since the company was dissolved in less than 90 days. The sole motivation for establishing the company was the belief that it was the most suitable course of action in their situation.
During those three months, insights into the skills of Rocktoshi became clear, and Casey withdrew all the strings of association. Rocktoshi’s demand for equity, which never existed due to its non-issuance, threw everything into chaos.
Casey stated that he continued to receive emails and threats from him even after the finalization of the dissolution. Casey has recognized this phase as a journey filled with lies, manipulation, threats, and deception. He has further expressed concerns about the influence that Rocktoshi has in the market, which he gained only because of his proximity with Casey.
In response to this, Rocktoshi has clarified that he is not a liar and that all of his statements are accurate, as those who are familiar with him are aware. Rocktoshi has also asked Casey to cool it with personal attacks and character assassination.
To anyone who cares:
I am not a liar.
Those who know me know this.
Including Casey.
Everything I said was true.
It was a relief to say it publicly.
To Casey:
I think you should cool it with the personal attacks and character assassinations.
Distasteful and unnecessary.

Many members of the team have refrained from publicly discussing the incident they had with Rocktoshi. Cbspears, for one, said that he was being blackmailed and threatened about getting sued. He said that threats were mostly vague and baseless, with very little elaborate explanation. Cbspears has expressed concerns about Rocktoshi using his influence and wealth to continue manipulating and attacking people.
Erin has said that she has also experienced such incidents several times in the last 6 months. Joona shared a similar experience. They met during the early days of Ordinals to strike a simple deal. The deal was short-lived as Rocktoshi threatened to sue if they didn’t cancel it. Joona stated that nothing was done that would breach the agreement, thereby canceling it in the middle of developments. Joona also mentioned vague replies such as ‘by many ways’.
The controversy could be far from ending any time soon. Rocktoshi is facing backlash from community members who ask him about his contributions. Others are actively pursuing their own narratives to expose his alleged malicious behavior.
