Nobu Hospitality has announced plans to open its second hotel and restaurant in Vietnam, located in Ho Chi Minh City.
Nobu Hotel and Restaurant Ho Chi Minh is set to open in 2026, and will mark the brand’s 40th hotel globally.
The hotel will occupy the upper floors of a 40-storey mixed-use complex, currently under construction in the historic District 1.
There will be 135 rooms and suites, a rooftop swimming pool, fitness centre, and Nobu restaurant on the seventh floor.
The brand already announced its first property in Vietnam – a hotel, restaurant and residences in Danang – and both properties are in collaboration with Viet Capital Real Estate (VCRE).
Trevor Horwell, CEO of Nobu Hospitality, commented:
“We are thrilled to announce our second property in Vietnam and are eager to deepen our partnership with VCRE as we introduce Nobu Hotel and restaurant Ho Chi Minh, alongside our previously announced Nobu Hotel and Residences Danang – our inaugural residences in Asia. We are celebrating our 40th hotel, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support and trust of our teams and partners. Together, we’ve achieved this remarkable milestone.”
Nobu Hospitality opened its first hotel in Las Vegas in 2013, and now has a portfolio of 40 hotels (both open and in development).
Last year the brand signed an agreement with Thai real estate group Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC) to open hotels in Bangkok and New York in 2026.
