The landside hotel – which will be built on the existing Terminal 2 Coach Stand and is scheduled to open by 2028 – will also feature a rooftop day club, bar and infinity pool.
The property will join two other landside hotels at the airport – Crowne Plaza Changi Airport (connected to Terminal 3) and YOTELAIR Singapore Changi Airport within the Jewel development.

There are also several transit hotels including Aerotel Singapore in Terminal 1, Ambassador Transit Hotel in Terminals 2 and 3, and the JetQuay Sleeping Suite within the JetQuay CIP Terminal.
The news follows the ongoing development of IHG’s “first lifecycle net zero carbon hotel” – voco Zeal Exeter Science Park is currently scheduled to open in 2025.
The Hotel Indigo property will be developed by OUE Ltd, and commenting on the news Mr Lee Seow Hiang, chief executive officer of Changi Airport Group, said:
“The hotel concept proposed by OUE was the most compelling and promises to be the first zero-energy hotel in Singapore, and possibly the first for an airport hotel in the world. With travel demand continuing to soar and passenger traffic growing beyond pre-Covid levels, the new hotel will elevate the hospitality offerings at Changi Airport.
