Hilton Honors has become the latest travel firm to partner with US payment and rewards platform Bilt Rewards.
Bilt Rewards enables members to earn points through monthly rent payments on properties which are part of the Bilt Rewards Alliance, when made through the Bilt Rewards app.
Additional points can be earned with dining, fitness and rideshare points, and when taking out the Bilt Rewards Mastercard.
These points can now be converted at a 1:1 ration in Hilton Honors points, and as a welcome bonus members transferring at least 1,000 Bilt Rewards points into the Hilton Honors programme by 8 June will receive an additional 1,000 Hilton Honors points.
Hilton Honors joins a long list of Bilt Rewards transfer partners, including American Airlines AAdvantage, British Airways Executive Club, Emirates Skywards, Iberia Plus, IHG One Rewards, Marriott Bonoy, United Mileage Plus, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and World of Hyatt.
All schemes transfer from Bilt Rewards at a 1:1 ratio, so readers will need to consider which scheme offers the best value when transferring in points.
Commenting on the news Jenn Chick, Hilton’s senior vice president and global head, loyalty and customer engagement, said:
“As consumers plan for their next vacation, whether it’s a solo trip or one with family or friends, they want more ways for their everyday expenses like rent to unlock their next stay.
“Hilton Honors members are always looking for more ways to earn Points, and our relationship with Bilt Rewards provides a new pathway for members to turn one of their largest monthly expenses into their next stay with Hilton.”
The new follows Hilton’s recent partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World, which will see selected properties become available to book through Hilton’s channels, as well as offering Hilton Honors members new earning and redemption opportunities.
