Summer Bootcamps Fuel Hackers League Hackathon Innovation On TON

Web3 developers are constantly looking for ecosystems that offer both technical scalability and real-world applicability. Ethereum and Solana are such popular blockchains for this very reason, the developer talent pool working is world class. This summer the TON ecosystem seemed to have entered the playing field of attracting developers. The Open League Summer Bootcamps, hosted across 13 cities worldwide, provided developers with an opportunity to hone their Web3 skills, connect with experts, and build applications within the rapidly expanding TON ecosystem.

Competitive Hackathon with Real-World Prizes

Following the bootcamps, developers had the chance to compete in the highly anticipated Hackers League Hackathon, which offered substantial rewards to incentivize innovation and technical excellence within the TON ecosystem. The hackathon provided:

  • $2 million prize pool: Top projects across categories like GameFi, DeFi, and Web3 social applications were awarded significant cash prizes.
  • Funding opportunities: Developers had access to $500,000 in potential funding from TON Ventures for further scaling their projects.
  • Additional incentives: The top-performing teams could secure Telegram Ads worth up to $120,000 and liquidity boosts to enhance their project’s visibility and engagement​

This combination of prizes and funding offered a unique opportunity for developers to take their projects from concept to fully operational within the growing TON ecosystem, positioning the hackathon as a major platform for innovation and growth.
