EthStorage Announces Support For Manta Network With Celestia Beneath

EthStorage has announced support for Manta Network in association with Celestia. The objective is to enable Manta Network to deliver a fast infrastructure at an economical cost, something that is more common with Layer-2s. Also, it is poised to enjoy a stronger security offered by decentralized L2 state derivation.

Celestia and EthStorage bring their respective pros to the table. For instance, Celestia has committed to extending support for its modular DA. EthStorage, on the other hand, will support the development with its permanent data storage solution. At the core, DAS supports the development. EthStorage, which stands for data availability sampling, will use DAS to provide on-chain verification using SNARK proof.

Manta Network has confirmed the development by talking about it on X. It has informed the community that they are now officially the first ones to take advantage of modular DA with Celestia. Manta Network is confident about gaining updates, considering it is looking up to EthStorage to bring the best of its permanent data storage solution.

Members of both communities have expressed excitement about EthStorage and Manta Network joining hands. However, that sentiment has yet to be reflected in MANTA. The token has been down by 4.477% in the last 24 hours, exchanging hands at $2.71 at the time of writing this article. Moreover, the value is down by 3.99% and 24.85% in the last 7 days and 30 days, respectively.

The development comes only days after Manta Network announced a partnership with Interport Finance. They collectively launched a campaign in which participants were required to complete a series of tasks in order to receive an NFT. It runs until April 30, 2024, during which time winners will be able to obtain a one-of-a-kind Manta Pacific NFT.

The modular expansion by EthStorage comes a day after it confirmed attending The Verified Dubai 2024. The event is slated to happen on April 17, 2024, being hosted by Ox499 and co-hosted by NEAR & Paramita VC along with Binance.

EthStorage supporting Manta Network is part of its modular expansion. It, nevertheless, serves Manta Network well. The collaboration brings Celestia into the picture to improve the infrastructure’s speed. Celestia will bring its modular DA, and EthStorage will have a say in the permanent data storage solution.

EthStorage will also rely on DAS – data availability sampling, to cement the security aspect of the infrastructure.

Moving forward, Manta Network is gearing up to host the ZK Olympic Campaign. It has partnered with Cysic and Lumoz. The campaign runs from April 09, 2024, to April 30, 2024. The prize pool is set at $2,000. Participants only have to complete the tasks on Galxe to share their fair share of the pool.

It now remains to be seen what result EthStorage, Celestia, and Manta Network roll out in the days to come.
