Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has added the eighth aircraft to its fleet. The ultra low-cost carrier has obtained a new Airbus A321neo aircraft.

The aircraft offers low fuel burn, emissions and noise footprint, thereby supporting the airline’s sustainability goals.

The additional aircraft will allow the carrier to grow its destination network. It currently flies to Alexandria (Egypt), Almaty (Kazakhstan), Amman (Jordan), Ankara (Turkey), Aqaba (Jordan), Athens (Greece), Baku (Azerbaijan), Belgrade (Serbia), Dammam (Saudi Arabia), Kuwait City (Kuwait), Kutaisi (Georgia), Manama (Bahrain), Male (Maldives), Muscat (Oman), Nur Sultan (Kazakhstan), Salalah (Oman), Santorini (Greece), Sarajevo (Bosnia), Sohag (Egypt), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Tel-Aviv (Israel), Tirana (Albania) and Yerevan (Armenia), among others.

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is a joint venture between ADQ, a holding company with a portfolio of major enterprises spanning key sectors of Abu Dhabi’s economy, and Wizz Air Holdings. The latter is a European airline that operates a fleet of 172 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft.
