UK-based superyacht design studio Gresham Yacht Design has unveiled images of its latest futuristic concept – the 100-metre motoryacht ‘Thor Explore’.
Thor Explore ‘breaks from the norm by beginning the design process from the interior and working outwards.’
The company said, “Organic shapes feature throughout the vessel and complement the prominent double-height windows in the grand saloon on the main deck.”
The stylish upper-level space can be used by the owner and guests as a mission control centre for planning adventures as well as monitor the day’s activities.
In the centre of this space is a sunken seating area that floats between the decks.
The area is equipped with a lounge bed, bar and central seating space with additional seating provided to starboard.
Another highlight of this yacht is the tender hangar – a large, state-of-the-art space that offers the owner the ability to carry any and all tenders and toys including a 12.5-metre custom tender, hydrofoil speedboat, submarine and a host of kite and windsurfing and diving equipment, surfboards and jet ski.
The vessel has a range of 7,000 nautical miles, offers plenty of accommodation options and can carry up to 36 passengers.
