Got an Uber account? You can now take a helicopter between New York’s midtown Manhattan and JFK airport – a service previously limited to Uber Platinum and Diamond members.

NBC News reports that Uber Copter, launched in July, is now available to any Uber user willing to pay the $200-225 tab (one way) for the eight-minute flight between JFK and lower Manhattan.

“Uber Copter can change the way you travel, offering door-to-door airport trips designed so you can spend less time stressed and even less time in traffic,” the ride-sharing company said in announcing the service earlier this year.

Travellers can use Uber ground transportation to get to and from the heliport; trips from below Houston Street and some areas along the West Side Highway are included in the price of the helicopter trip.

A company called HeliFlite operates a pair of helicopters for Uber Copter. Each can accommodate six passengers, each of whom is allowed one carry on bag and one personal item.

Uber Copter rides are offered on weekdays during peak rush hour times.
