The opening marks the group’s 600th property, and its 81st hotel in London. Travelodge currently has a further six properties under construction, including London hotels in Bermondsey, Beckenham and Chiswick.
The Bermondsey hotel is taking bookings from 15 July, while reservations have not yet opened for the Beckenham and Chiswick properties.
Earlier this month Travelodge announced plans to open a hotel within walking distance of London’s Stratford Station.
The 150-room property will be housed within a former office block at Gredley House on Broadway, around five minutes’ walk from the Stratford interchange station with links to National Rail, Underground, Overground, DLR and Elizabeth Line services.

The group recently said that it was accelerating its room refit programme, with plans for 50 per cent of the group’s room estate to be upgraded by the end of the year.
