Czech low-cost carrier Smartwings has launched a new route between Václav Havel Airport Prague and London Heathrow.
The new service is initially operating four-times-weekly, with plans to increase this to daily this winter.
Flights depart at different times depending on the day of services, as follows:
From Prague to London
- Departs 1550 on Monday, 0945 on Thursday, 1400 on Friday and 1850 on Sunday
From London to Prague
- Departs 1745 on Monday, 1205 on Thursday, 1600 on Friday and 2045 on Sunday
Lead-in fares start from €46 one-way, and be purchased from either smartwings.com or csa.cz – the Smartwings group owns a 98 per cent stake in Czech Airlines.
British Airways offers flights from London City and Heathrow to Prague, while Easyjet operates from Gatwick and Luton, and Ryanair flies to the Czech capital from Stansted.
The new Heathrow route is part of the carrier’s revised winter schedules, which will include flights from Prague to London, Dubai, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Málaga, Tel Aviv, Mallorca, Madeira (Funchal), Antalya, Hurghada, Marsa Alam and St Petersburg.
