Singapore Airlines will unveil its long-awaited upgraded lounge spaces at Changi Airport in the next few weeks, including a renovated Krisflyer Gold Lounge and new first class facilities.

The carrier first announced details of the S$50 million project back in July 2019, and had planned to complete the works in mid-2021, before this was pushed back as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

SIA has now confirmed that its “all-new and expanded” Krisflyer Gold Lounge at Changi’s Terminal 3 will reopen at 0500 local time on May 20.

The space will operate 24/7, and as previously reported will be double the size of the previous lounge, with larger al fresco seating and dining areas, and new “productivity pods” – high-walled booths equipped with a single seat and a table.

Entry to the Gold Lounge is available to Krisflyer Elite Gold members and Star Alliance Gold members departing on SIA or Star Alliance flights.
