A new 88-seat Club SJC lounge is now open at Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport, the brand’s second lounge at the northern California airport.
Operated by Airport Dimensions (part of the Collinson group), the lounge has 3,977 square feet of public space with multiple hospitality “zones” for business, relaxation, and dining. Decor includes photos of San Jose and the Silicon Valley.
The new lounge is located near the airport’s gate A8, a short distance from the original Club SJC at gate A15.
The first lounge opened in 2013. “Since opening our first San Jose lounge, we have seen over 475 per cent growth in our annual guest volume,” said Nancy Knipp, senior vice president of Airport Dimensions.
Both lounges are open to Priority Pass members, LoungeKey and Lounge Club members, and to travellers willing to pay for a $40 day pass. The Club SJC locations are open daily from 0500 to 2200.
Airport Dimensions recently opened The Club Buffalo Niagara International Airport and the Club Aspire lounge at Gatwick Airport’s South Terminal, and plans to add another lounge at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport in early 2020.
