Qatar Airways is set to increase flight frequencies from Sharjah to Doha, starting June 15, 2022.

With the increase in its services from Sharjah, the airline will operate 21 weekly flights, and a total of 63 flights from the airline’s three gateways in the UAE.

Qatar Airways currently flies to more than 150 destinations worldwide, connecting through its Doha hub, Hamad International Airport.

Passengers from Sharjah will be able to benefit from the carrier’s global network and expanded code-share agreement with the likes of Indigo Airlines.

Qatar Airways has placed its code on IndiGo operated flights between Doha and Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kochi and Kozhikode. Together, both Qatar Airways and IndiGo now offer over 340 flights per week to 13 destinations in India.

With American Airlines meanwhile, the first phase of the codeshare agreement will see Qatar Airways’ code placed on over 1,000 American Airlines’ domestic flights, which will create hundreds of new travel possibilities for passengers travelling to the US.

Recently, the airline also said that it will increase flights from its other gateway in the UAE, Abu Dhabi, and will begin operating triple daily flights from Doha, starting July 10, 2022.
