Qatar Airways is the official airline partner for Qatar-India Year of Culture 2019 — a cultural event that will feature exhibitions, musical performances, fashion, film and artistic events from Qatar and India. Developed by Qatar Museums, the Years of Culture programme started with the launch of Qatar-Japan Year of Culture 2012.
This year, visitors can enjoy the cultural fiesta at Doha International Book Fair 2019. Some of the highlights of this year’s event include exhibition by Raqs Media Collective, known for producing contemporary art, literature and exhibitions; ‘Festival of India’ event that will showcase visual arts and traditional performances of the country; ‘The Monsoon Wedding’ musical; and a contemporary Art Qatar Exhibition depicting the Middle-Eastern country’s social and urban transformation.

Currently, Qatar Airways 102 weekly flights between Qatar and 13 Indian destinations including Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Mumbai, Nagpur and Thiruvananthapuram.
