As a part of its joint venture with Yahoo! Japan, OYO has announced the expansion of its OYO LIFE programme in Tokyo. The programme aims to provide hassle-free rental furnished apartments at affordable prices, thereby eliminating traditional real estate issues of the security deposit and hefty travel agent fees.
Ritesh Agarwal, CEO & Founder, OYO Hotels and Homes said, “We are really excited to announce that OYO LIFE is now live in Tokyo. OYO LIFE is focused on creating unique living experiences for the Japanese citizens, students, and young professionals, looking for good quality affordable accommodations.
“OYO is already the most preferred brand in the budget to mid-segment hospitality space in several markets like India and China, where our operational expertise in identifying, transforming and managing properties has helped us gain significant momentum, and we are certain that we will continue to grow in Japan and deliver great value in the Japanese market.”
Along with OYO LIFE, the company has also launched “OYO Passport Programme”, a subscription-based programme that will offer exclusive discounts, trials, events and benefits from the companies listed at Sharing Economy Association of Japan (SEAJ) to all its subscribers.
To further expand their offline presence, the company along with OYO LIFE has launched 30 OYO Partner Real Estate stores in the city to empower people in the real estate industry and take advantage of the Internet economy.
