Niraamaya Retreats Samroha, Athirappily facilitated Kerala’s first eco wellness retreat -ātmīyaṁ. The invite-only gathering was curated and hosted by Cherish Expeditions and was attended by prominent fitness and wellness enthusiasts.
The retreat’s focus was on meditative and healing processes, flow and movement-based workshops, and curated immersive and transformative experiences.
The first edition of ātmīyaṁ also placed importances on topics such as healing, subconscious reprogramming, relationship psychology, abundance mindset, and more. Sahiba Singh from The Flux School of Arts, Bangalore hosted a session on intuitive spine movement that was focused on releasing negative emotions and traumas stuck in one’s body.
Resham Dhanarajan from the Ardra Collective, Goa hosted a meditative session that helped participants tap into their intuition and work on their personal growth. Arunesh Moudgil from the Circus of Meraqi, Chandigarh hosted a water relaxation session that explored the rejuvenating powers of water. He also conducted flow sessions like slacklining and poi spinning that works on the coordination of one’s body and mind.
Ecoflea saw the sale of sustainable products from the clothing and crafts industry. The Experience centre showcased the latest Tigor EV launched by Tata motors. Uravu Indigenous Science & Technology Study Centre held a workshop where the participants were introduced to the art of bamboo bangle making. The eco-retreat also endorsed Uravu’s fundraiser to uplift the woman bamboo artisans based out of Wayanad.
