Seattle-Tacoma (Sea-Tac) International Airport will be getting a new Alaska Airlines premium lounge on July 12.
The new Alaska Lounge opening in Sea-Tac’s North Concourse will have 15,800 square feet of space, making it the airline’s largest premium lounge. It will be the third Alaska Lounge at the airport, which is a hub for Alaska Airlines operations. Other Alaska Lounges are located in Anchorage, Los Angeles, New York, and Portland.
Amenities at the new lounge will include a food and snack station, a bar serving West Coast wines and other beverages, high-speed wifi, seating with views of TVs and windows overlooking the airport, and concierge services.
“Prepare to relax by the grand fireplace or sip a local brew at the spacious bar while taking in the best runway views at Sea-Tac,” the airline’s website said in teasing the opening.
The other Alaska Lounges at Sea-Tac are locked in concourses C and D. The new lounge is part of a broad modernisation of the airport’s 45-year-old North Satellite terminal area.
