Marriott International has opened the first property under its Renaissance brand in Poland, with the unveiling of the Renaissance Warsaw Airport Hotel.
The 225-room property is situated opposite the airport (or as the hotel’s website boasts “37 seconds or 67 steps” from the terminal doors), and close to the existing Courtyard by Marriott Warsaw Chopin Airport.
There are 225 rooms and suites featuring graphic art by the Polish Poster Gallery, while the hotel’s design has been inspired by the avant-garde modernism of the 1930s, 1960s and today, with “modern pops of primary colours in its art, textiles and furniture, inspired by the fashion, graphic design and pop culture of the time”.
Service innovations include a lobby area ‘Discovery Table’ staffed by ‘Navigators’ to assist guests with handpicked experiences, and nightly ‘Renaissance Bar Rituals’ social events.
Facilities include a signature restaurant offering “local Polish cuisine with a modern twist”, a swimming pool, fitness and events space with seven meeting rooms and a main ballroom.
