Mandarin Oriental will open its newest Chinese property in the southeastern city of Shenzhen later this month.
Business Traveller first reported on plans for the Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen way back in 2013.
The 178-room hotel is housed within the upper floors of a 79-storey tower in the city’s Futian business district, with rooms enjoying views of the city, Lotus Hill Park, Bijia Mountain Park and Shenzhen Bay.
Facilities include a 30-metre indoor swimming pool, a 78th floor Mandarin Club, a spa, fitness centre and eight restaurants and bars including a fine-dining Cantonese restaurant Michelin-starred Chef Fei, as well as Spanish, European, Japanese and Pan-Asian venues.
