As previously reported, the renovated lobby lounge HAUS 65 has been curated by private members’ club Mandala Club, with features including daily wine tasting led by sommeliers and winemakers.
All day dining restaurant embu offers a garden-style space with a tailored kids’ buffet and playground, and the MO BAR is also set to reopen this month.
The reopening comes as Mandarin Oriental gears up to unveils its second London property in the city’s Mayfair district this autumn.
The group also recently announced plans for a third hotel in the UK capital, as part of part of the 2.2 hectare mixed-use Bankside Yards development, which has been designed to reconnect the space between the Tate Modern and Blackfriars Station.
Commenting on the news Philipp Knuepfer, general manager of Mandarin Oriental, Singapore and area vice president operations, said:
“For over 36 years, Mandarin Oriental, Singapore has been delighting guests from around the world with our warm Singaporean hospitality.
“As we reopen, we are excited to bring the soul of Singapore to life through our transformation, weaving together Mandarin Oriental’s legendary service and the rich tapestry of local culture, delivering an immersive Singapore experience to our guests.”
