The addition of Luton Hoo to the Fairmont portfolio follows last month’s news that The Mere in Cheshire will join the brand next year.

Fairmont Windsor Park – located on the site of the former Savills Court Hotel and Spa next to Windsor Great Park and also owned by Arora – joined the portfolio at the start of 2022, and Carton House became Fairmont’s first Irish property in 2021.
Commenting on the news Mark Willis, CEO, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, said:
“There are few hotels in the world with the incredible heritage and grand, elegant estate of Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf and Spa. This is a perfect addition to a collection of hotels that already includes such icons as The Plaza in New York, The Savoy in London, Fairmont Peace Hotel in Shanghai.
“We will be honoured to welcome the Luton Hoo Hotel to the Fairmont family, and are excited to see the property’s transformation unfold over the coming months and years.”
