Iberia has further extended status benefits within its Iberia Plus loyalty programme, and says it will reward “those who managed to keep their level by their own efforts”.
All members will retain their current status levels until March 2023, “regardless of how many flights they took in the past year”, while those who have attained status through sufficient flying will receive an unspecified “additional bonus” in March 2023, to help them keep or raise their status level at the next cut-off period.
In addition Iberia said that it would be “flexible” with member statuses within its On Business loyalty programme.
All members holding the highest On3 status will retain this regardless of the number of flights taken in the past year, while members with On1 status will see their spend requirement to attain On2 status halved through to June 30.
In December sister carrier British Airways announced that Executive Club members with tier point collection end dates between April 1 and June 30, 2022 would see their status extended by a further 12 months.
