Hilton has announced plans to open the first property in Poland under its lifestyle Canopy brand.
Canopy by Hilton Warsaw is scheduled to open in 2025 at Wilcza 50/52, around ten minutes’ walk from the Palace of Culture and Science and Warsaw Central Station.
The 170-room hotel will the brand’s signature Canopy Central lobby hub, as well as meeting and events space, and a rooftop terrace “where visitors can enjoy a coffee or cocktail alongside a menu of delicious, locally-inspired dishes”.
Hilton said that the hotel’s design would include “sweeping glass walls on the ground floor”, and “dramatic curved balconies offering a subtle nod to the arches of Baroque architecture found in the city”.
The group currently operates 29 properties across Poland, including six in Warsaw. Recent openings in the country include Hotel Saski Krakow, Curio Collection by Hilton, Hampton by Hilton Poznan Swarzedz and Hampton by Hilton Lodz City Center.
The Canopy by Hilton brand was launched in 2014, with the first mainland Europe hotel opening in Zagreb in November 2018.
There are currently around 40 Canopy hotels open worldwide, with another 30 properties under development.
