Gulf Air, Bahrain’s national carrier, has added a new seasonal route to Saudi Arabia.
Starting 3 February, it will commence flights to AlUla. These flights will operate twice weekly until 6 March 2024, and then from 10-27 April 2024, using an A320 neo aircraft.
GF 0191 will depart Bahrain International at 3.10pm and land in AlUla at 5.30pm. The return flight, GF0192 will depart from AlUla International at 6.15pm and land back in Bahrain at 8.05pm.
Gulf Air, one of the Middle East’s oldest carriers, has been operating flights to and from Saudi Arabia since 1950.
Gulf Air’s global network has now reached 54 destinations.
With the addition of AlUla seasonal flights starting in February, the number of Gulf Air destinations that it operates to in Saudi Arabia will reach six.
Another carrier from the region, Qatar Airways, recently commenced services to AlUla from Doha.
Qatar’s national carrier has begun operating two weekly flights to AlUla, taking its total number destinations in Saudi Arabia to 10.
It therefore operates 125 weekly flights across AlUla, Dammam, Gassim, Jeddah, Medina, NEOM, Riyadh, Tabuk, Taif, and Yanbu.
