Dubai-based carrier flydubai will resume flights to Kabul International Airport (KBL) in Afghanistan next month.
From November 15, 2023, the carrier will operate a double-daily service from Terminal 2 at Dubai International (DXB).

Flydubai’s network includes more than 115 destinations in 54 countries served by a fleet of 78 Boeing 737 aircraft.
The airline carried more than four million passengers between June and mid-September 2023 – an increase of 30 per cent compared to the same period in 2022.
It recently announced the launch of operations to three new destinations. Its daily service to Cairo will begin on October 28, to Poznan – its third destination in Poland – on October 29, and Mombasa operations are scheduled to begin on January 17, 2024.
The month after it begins flying to Mombasa, flydubai will also commence services from Dubai’s Terminal 3 to Penang International airport (PEN) and Langkawi International airport (LGK). These flights will begin from February 10, 2024 and its services to Langkawi will operate via a short stop in Penang. The carrier will deploy its Boeing 737 MAX aircraft on the Malaysian routes which will include lie-flat seats in business class in addition to economy class seats.
