Flybe will compete with Easyjet’s year-round service on the Birmingham-Geneva route.

Other carriers flying between the UK and Geneva include British Airways from Heathrow and London City (with a seasonal route starting on October 31); Easyjet from Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Gatwick, Liverpool, Luton and Manchester (with seasonal services from Aberdeen, Belfast, Bournemouth, Glasgow, Newcastle and Southampton); Jet 2 from Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle (all seasonal); and Swiss from Heathrow and London City (as well as seasonal services from Gatwick).

Ethiopian also recently announced a fifth freedom route between Manchester and Geneva, as part of its Manchester-Geneva-Addis Ababa service.
