Emirates will operate four flights between Dubai and Cairo on June 14,18,19 and 21 for Egyptian citizens and those who meet the entry requirements, it was announced today.
Stranded Egyptian citizens or residents will also be able connect to these flights in Dubai from any destination on Emirates’ current network of 30 destinations in the GCC, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas. Flights can be booked on emirates.com, via travel agents, Emirates sales office and contact centre.
Emirates has implemented a set of safety measures that include the distribution of complimentary hygiene kits containing masks, gloves, hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes to all customers.
Travellers from the UAE should arrive at Dubai International airport Terminal 3 for check-in, three hours before departure. Emirates’ check-in counters will only process passengers holding confirmed bookings.

This week, Egyptair said that it would operate special flights from Cairo to a variety of European destinations in June.
The airline recently received a two billion pound ($127.39 million) loan from the Egyptian government to prop up its finances during the pandemic. The airline halted its operations temporarily from March 19, when airports around the country closed.
Egyptair will run flights from Cairo to Frankfurt and Amsterdam on June 12, Paris and Vienna on June 14, London on June 13 and Munich on June 15. The airline noted that some of the flights, including to London, would only be available to book for residents of the country.
The airline urged customers to book their ticket through one of Egyptair’s worldwide offices.
