Eastern Airways has announced plans to move its Paris flights to the main hub of Charles de Gaulle airport.
The regional carrier launched flights from Cardiff, East Midlands and Southampton to Paris Orly last year, operating in cooperation with Air France.
The services from East Midlands and Southampton will now switch to Paris CDG’s Terminal 2 in April, “following the securing of rare landing and take off slots”.
Eastern Airways said that the move will allow for expanded world-wide connectivity through the carrier’s interline agreement with Air France-KLM Group.
However the carrier also confirmed that “with currently only two slots freed the existing Cardiff-Orly service will cease in the short-term”.
Schedules for the daily (except Saturday) flights are detailed in the tables below.
Commenting on the news Roger Hage, commercial director, Eastern Airways, said:
“We are delighted to be extending this cooperation with Air France and opening wider connectivity to Europe’s second biggest city for both business and leisure travellers.
“The first year has seen strong demand and notable growth throughout, which given the significance of Paris and France hosting the 2024 Olympics and Paralympics, the welcome move to Charles-De-Gaulle will help improve direct access year-round to France including Disneyland Paris.”
