Serviced apartment group Cheval Collection has announced plans to expand beyond its UK roots, with Cheval Maison The Palm Dubai set to open early next year.
The 131-apartment property will be located at New Golden Mile 3 on the Palm Jumeirah, and will be the second property under the group’s Cheval Maison brand, joining Lexham Gardens by Cheval Maison which opened in 2021.
Cheval Maison The Palm Dubai will offer 100 one-bedroom apartments, as well as 20 two-bedroom options and a three-bderoom penthouse. Facilities will include a ground floor lobby lounge, fitness centre and a rooftop pool with bar and terrace.
The property is owned by Nakheel, which also operates the adjacent Nakheel Mall, which features over 140 shops and 30 dining outlets, as well as a cinema and family entertainment zone.
Cheval Collection currently operates around a dozen properties in Edinburgh and London, with a Cheval Maison due to open in Glasgow in 2024. The city is also set to welcome the first property under the group’s My Locanda brand.
Commenting on the news John Philipson, chief operating officer for Cheval Collection said:
“It’s been an amazing journey seeing the Cheval Collection brand expand not only in the United Kingdom, but also internationally. This gives us an indication of what our customers are looking for, with more people having an appetite for flexible accommodation whilst travelling for business or leisure.
“With this in mind, we want to ensure that we are providing them with the ultimate experience, which is key and at the heart of what we do here at Cheval Collection.”
