Regional carrier Bmi has announced a new route from its base at Bristol airport to Gothenburg.
The twice weekly service will launch on January 22, with schedules as follows:
Bristol to Gothenburg
- Departs Monday and Thursday at 1340, arriving 1650
Gothenburg to Bristol
- Departs Tuesday at 1440, arriving 1600
- Departs Friday at 1140, arriving 1300
The new service will be the ninth route operated by Bmi from Bristol, joining Paris, Milan, Munich, Brussels, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Hamburg and Aberdeen.
Fares start from £99 one way, including hold luggage and complimentary in-flight drinks and snacks.
The carrier’s chief commercial officer Jochen Schnadt said that the new route was part of “our on-going strategy to connect key business regions”.
Bmi launched flights between Birmingahm and Gothenburg earlier this year, and Schnadt said that “Given our experiences on the Birmingham to Gothenburg market so far, we believe this new route will prove attractive to business as well as leisure customers alike enjoying bmi’s service of fast and convenient air-services”.
