Air France has announced plans to resume its route between Paris Orly and New York JFK at the end of next month.
The flag carrier will offer a daily service between the two airports from March 27, with the resumption meaning that the airline will operate up to seven daily flights from Orly and CDG to New York this summer.
On the same day Air France will also resume its route from Paris CDG to Dallas, with up to five weekly flights.
And the carrier’s seasonal Paris CDG-Denver service – which launched in 2021 – will return for the summer 2022 season, with three weekly flights starting on May 4.
In total Air France will serve a total of 14 US destinations this summer – Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York JFK, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington DC.
The airline will operate nearly 200 weekly flights to the US for summer 2022, a 20 per cent increase on the pre-pandemic summer of 2019.
Air France recently announced that its Ready to Fly service (which allows customers to have their travel documents checked prior to their flight) in July 2021, has now rolled out across 140 routes from 80 airports, including services to and from the US.
