Air Baltic, the flag carrier of Latvia, has confirmed that it will operate year-round flights between Dubai and Riga.
The airline added that it will operate four weekly flights over the winter and thrice weekly flights during the summer.
The winter flight schedule has been confirmed. The services between Dubai and Riga will operate every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
It will depart Dubai International (DXB) at 9.30am and land in Riga (RIX) at 3pm. It will then depart from RIX at at11.10pm and land in DXB the following day at 8am.
Air Baltic has said that it will launch 18 new routes over its summer schedule next year that commences in March 2023. These include 10 new routes from Riga, four from Tallinn and four from Vilnius. Additionally, it will increase flight frequencies on popular routes from Riga including Barcelona, Lisbon and Rome, among others.
During September 2022, Air Baltic carried 338,100 passengers, an increase of 45 per cent over the month of September 2021.
Last month, it also operated 3,420 flights, an increase of 15 per cent over the corresponding month last year.
The airline currently operates a fleet of 36 Airbus A220-300 aircraft. It recently launched a new Business Light fare which it says “offers passengers a full on board business class experience as well as select flexibility options for a more affordable price”.
