Low-cost carrier Air Arabia has said that it will resume direct flights to Kuala Lumpur from Sharjah in March next year.
The direct flights between Sharjah International airport and Kuala Lumpur International airport will resume with a frequency of three weekly flights starting from March 20, 2023.
These will be subsequently increased to daily flights from June 2023. The schedule of these flights is below:

The carrier has recently announced a number of new flights. Earlier this month, it began operating four weekly flights from Sharjah to Milan Bergamo airport.
From its other hub in Abu Dhabi, Air Arabia said that it will connect the capital of the UAE to both Koltsovo International airport and Kazan International airport in Russia, starting December 29, 2022. With the addition of its new routes to Kazan and Yekaterinburg, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi currently serves 28 routes from the capital Abu Dhabi.
During the first nine months ending September 30, 2022, Air Arabia registered a net profit of Dhs867 million, an increase of 242 per cent compared to the same period of last year.
