The opening of Plaza Premium’s Aerotel property at Heathrow T3 has been delayed to allow the group to “make further improvements to ensure we provide the best possible customer experience”.
The transit hotel – located within the east wing of the Heathrow T3 Arrivals area – had been scheduled to open at the start of May, with Plaza Premium initially offering discounted rates for stays between May 1 and July 1.
But the hotel’s online reservation page now carries a line saying “Bookings available soon”, and a statement from the Plaza Premium Group advises:
“The opening of Aerotel by Plaza Premium Group has been delayed while we make further improvements to ensure we provide the best possible customer experience. We are working on confirming an opening date as soon as possible.
“Any customers who have already booked to stay at the hotel via Booking.com or Expedia.com have been informed and will be offered alternative accommodation.
“Customers who have booked via MyAerotel.com will be offered the choice of a full refund or a stay at the Crowne Plaza Heathrow, subject to availability.”
