Fragrance Group is a property developer with a presence across three continents today: Asia, Australia and Europe. This new Novotel property will be the second hotel collaboration for Fragrance Group and Accor in Australia, with the first one being the Ibis Styles Hobart in Tasmania.

The pair will initially open 40 rooms in the new Novotel in December and have a staged opening for the rest of the rooms and public spaces next year.

Accor said guests will be able to take advantage of the dining outlets at the nearby Art Series hotel, The Adnate; Peppers Kings Square Hotel; Mantra on Murray; and Ibis Perth’s Rubix Bar and Murray St Grill, all of which are part of the Accor group.

“We are confident in the growth of international tourism in Perth and having the renowned global branding of Novotel and Accor’s worldwide distribution will help to bring new international visitors to Perth,” said McGrath.

“With new Qantas routes between Perth and London, new connections between Tokyo and test flights to Shanghai, the future is looking bright,” he added.

Accor has 4,900 hotels and residences across 110 countries. The group recently opened a 200-room Novotel Christchurch Airport hotel.

Another Novotel property in Australia, Novotel Sydney Parramatta, recently underwent a AU$6.5 million (US$4.4 million) refurbishment and re-opened last month.
